How to Fix Sound Problems in Laptop

The sound is a vital factor for several people and most laptop users use their laptop speakers on a regular basis so if the audio concern happens on laptop users find it discouraging. But wait, luckily there are some very easy ways to solve the trouble.

Reasons Behind No Sound!!!

There are several factors your laptop’s sound might not be functioning:

  • The volume could be muted.
  • The inner speakers could be malfunctioning.
  • Windows might be sending out audio to the wrong sound device.
  • Audio enhancements may be triggering an interruption.
  • An OS upgrade may be conflicting with the audio drivers.

Check Volume

In some cases, you accidentally silenced the quantity. Click the audio speaker icon in the bottom-right corner of the Windows taskbar, and also make sure your volume is unmuted and also showed up. If you have external speakers connected in, make sure they’re switched on and also showed up, as well.

Enable Playback Devices

Sometimes your speaker may have been disabled from playback devices from the Control Panel. To allow it again you need to change it in control panel settings, follow these steps to enable it.

Run Audio Troubleshooter

Windows audio troubleshooter can aid automatically fix audio problems on your laptop. To do this,Click Start > Settings > System > Sound and select Troubleshoot. Alternatively, type audio troubleshooter in the search box on the taskbar, click Fix find problems with playing sound, and after that click Next. Select the device you wish to troubleshoot and follow the instructions to complete the procedure.

Check For Windows Updates

Click Start > Settings > Update & Security.

If you see the Updates are available status, click Install now. Click the one you’d like installed, and then select Install.

Reboot your laptop and also examine if the sound is functioning. If the status shows You’re up to date, try the next solution.

Repair the speakers

If you cannot seem to repair the trouble in the software programs, there’s a possibility the audio speakers themselves are broken, or a cable has come loosened inside your laptop. Either send it to the manufacturer for repairs if it’s under service warranty or locate a regional store that can diagnose the trouble for you.
